A The complaint · Home services

You can’t answer the phone from under a sink.

The average home-service shop misses about 1 in 4 calls. Each one is a $300 to $3,000 job that went to whoever picked up. For a flat fee, I’ll find where AI can fix that in your business, and tell you if it can’t. You get two personal calls and a written plan.

Every assessment done personally by Natanel Factor · Flat fee, per project · You keep the plan and every password, even if you never hire me again.

B Your numbers

Fill in the blanks. See what the phone is costing you.

My shop gets calls a week. About % go unanswered. An average job is worth $. Of the people I miss, maybe % would have booked.

Walking out the door, per year
$58,968

40 calls × 52 weeks × 27% missed × 30% would book × $350

Your guesses, your math. The assessment is $1,000. And if the plan doesn't find at least $5,000 a year, you get it back.

What missed calls actually cost

  1. R-01 27%

of calls to home-service businesses are never answered.

    Source: Invoca, 2024

  2. R-02 24%

of calls got booked at shops with under 5 techs. Shops with 25+ techs booked 59%. The small shop loses the most.

    Source: ServiceTitan, 3,000+ businesses, 2022

  3. R-03 <3%

of callers sent to voicemail leave a message. The rest call the next name on Google.

  4. R-04 41%

of home-service calls go unanswered on weekends, versus 18% on weekdays.

There’s no notification for “you just lost a job.” The phone stops ringing, and the work shows up on someone else’s truck.

D The work order

A diagnostic fee first. Work second.

You charge a diagnostic fee before you open up a wall, because guessing is expensive. This works the same way, except you get more than a diagnosis. First, a 45-minute call where we go through how your calls, quotes, follow-ups, and invoices actually run. Then a written plan: what's worth automating, what it costs, what it returns, what to skip. Then a second call where I walk you through it for as long as you need, until every page makes sense.

Sometimes the plan says I should build you something. Sometimes it says buy a $49-a-month tool, and it names the tool, with the price, next to my quote, so you can check the honesty yourself. Sometimes the honest answer is "not yet." Either way, the plan and both calls are yours.

E Scope: straight answers

What AI can do for a shop. And what it can't.

Can do

  • Answer the phone at 9pm and book the job.
  • Text back a missed call in under a minute.
  • Chase the estimates nobody answered.
  • Send the invoice the day the job closes.

Can't do

  • Fix a bad tech.
  • Win a bid for you.
  • Replace the CSR your customers love.
  • Save a business that doesn’t answer its numbers.

I taught a free class on what these tools actually do. I'll send you the version with plumbing, electrical, and roofing examples. Get the lesson →

F Who’s on the job

No wall of logos. A guarantee in dollars.

First Factor is new. I don't have a wall of logos, and I won't invent one. You've seen the AI agency sites with the too-perfect reviews. What you get instead: if the plan doesn't find you at least $5,000 a year, the $1,000 comes back. As real results come in, they'll be published here with real numbers.

I'm Natanel Factor. First Factor LLC is registered in Florida; I work with US home-service businesses remotely. Every call, every plan, every build: that's me, not a sales team.
